Back to School Snack Time w/ Jolly Time Popcorn

I am a mother of three, two of those precious children are in school and this year they will both be going for the full day.  When we all arrive home from a long day it’s nice to have a quick but healthy snack before we move on into their pile of homework.

They are usually acting like they are starving by the time we get home but they want to finish up their homework fast so that they can play outside.  I have to pick snacks that will be filling but not messy.

Jolly Time popcorn is one great snack option and the kids love the flavor of it.  I like the small single serving size bags.  These bags prevent me having to hear them complain about one had more than the other and I don’t have to get out any bowls.  The kids just take their little bag to their room and sit at their desk.  It’s easy but it is also a lot healthier than I thought.

I learned that Jolly Time makes 100 calorie mini bags and those help with portion control plus they taste amazing!  I love making a bag right after the kids go to bed.  I can snack on it all night long while I blog and I feel satisfied plus I go to sleep better with something light in my stomach.

Jolly Time has some really great recipes on their website that involve popcorn.  One recipe that we enjoy making is their Halloween Mini Balls.  We like to use dried cherry bits in our balls and they always taste delicious.
